Two Ferries to Kirsten

Sunday Kit and I went to see Kirsten in Port Townsend. This entailed catching the 10:00 ferry from Guemes and the 12:00 ferry from Keystone on Whidbey Island. It was a totally glorious but chilly spring day. We spent the day in PT wandering the streets, admiring the lovely Victorian Houses, and listening to some fine family music in a hilltop grocery store. We also explored Fort Worden State Park and walked on the beach. Ended the day with a fine dinner at the Public House, before catching the 6:45 ferry--which actually left at 7:15. Luckily we caught the 9:00 to Guemes. We have returned from the land of endless highway to the land of frequent ferry rides.
