Kit and Carol on the Road

The real ferry has been back for a week and I brought the car home last Sunday. But low tides have kept Ida on the other side until today

Friday was supposed to be the sunny day followed by a cold rainy weekend. We came over to Newport on Friday, saw a few rays of sun, and walked on the beach. Now we are going back to Sweet Home and then home. Bah on blah weather

We didn't travel far today. Kit had a gathering of some high school classmates in Longview at 2 Luckily the rain held off long enough that we got in a walk around part of the lake on the center of town--including this Japanese island--and the fine old houses on the neighborhood.
It poured all afternoon. We left the restaurant at 4 and didn't travel far. We are staying tonight at an RV park right on the Columbia. It is still raining

We were home for 2 weeks and are now back on the road Have not seen much sun since we left AZ But this afternoon turned fine and we got a rare view of Mt St Helens. This was taken from the visitor center. We are staying at the state park across the highway
