Rainy Sunday
We drove up to Semiahmoo--end of the known world. Across the water is the Peace Arch and Canada. We think this great biking country but not today. On to Trader Joe and REI. Staying tonight in Bay View State park not far from home. Just back from a walk to the interpretive center between showers

Weekend getaway
We have taken Ida out for a little excursion--67 miles from home. We hadn't been to Birch Bay State Park. Nice campground but sites are close together. At least they are level. Just back from a walk along the beach to town for ice cream.

Prodigal daughter
Kirsten came down from BC for a 3 day visit. Here she is with her dad on Guemes mountain.
Rest of the story
From Eugene we went to the coast where the weather was Awesome. Found a new to us State Park--cape Lookout. Stopped at the Tillamook Cheese factory--most visited attraction in Oregon. Then went to visit John and Sue.
