Kit and Carol on the Road

Our bathroom is 97% done with the installation of the shower door. It's been sitting on our porch through several rain and thunder storms. Luckily Bill the builder came to put it in so I didn't have to interpret the instructions.
It was quite an adventure just getting it here. We took the car to Lowes thinking we could just throw it in on top of our rocks. Bad luck. We couldnt do that The car was too short for it to lie flat. So we arranged to borrow a neighbors truck. Back to Guemes. Bad luck. There was a fueling problem and ferry didn't run for 3 hours. Finally got the truck. Got an air mattress to cushion the glass door Got it home. Only took all day

Weeks ago my friends Karen and Roy were here and we went on the ferry to Friday Harbor. As you can see the weather was delightful. It rained much of the time we were here so no trips to the mountains. Instead we went to visit wineries in Woodinville along with everyone else on a rainy Saturday
