HOT

We were planning to see our friend Kit today but he was stuck in Salt Lake so we came to Sweet Home. Our favorite campground was a madhouse. No room. So we are sleeping in the parking lot where My mom lives. Very quiet but very hot. 95 today. Head home tomorrow

Saturday

Fridays loud music ceased and turned out to be a prelude for Saturdays running event. Luckily we got out on our bikes and escaped -- 11 miles on the riverfront trail. Then some shopping and moved to Deerwood RV--the only place we paid money to stay this trip. Biked around Seavey Loop to Kates baby shower/ barbecue with silly games.

Camping at the mall

Last night we camped at milli's-- free. Tonight we are camped at Valley River Center--free. Upside is proximity to shopping and restaurants and to river bike trail. Downside-- someone nearby is playin Very Loud music

Exit high tide

We have to leave on a high tide. Tonight it was 7pm. We had dinner at the store with friends encountered and left with the tide. Camping tonight in Gwens driveway. Oregon tomorrow
