Kit and Carol on the Road

The title above was a novel written in 1929 and later made into a movie. A friend recently told me it was one of the first books she ever read in English. It seems apropos since today Hurricane Sandy slammed into Jamaica. I have heard nothing so far to suspect that it will change my plans to depart for Jamaica a week from tomorrow. I am nervous as hell about the trip but nearly everything is packed and ready to go. Kit will be leaving for Arizona about the same time. I am taking my iPhone with me with the idea that there is wifi at the hotel and I will be able to post photos and blogs. So stay tuned
