Spring
The wildflowers were amazing on the Julian wash bike trail today. Of course these are all planted flowers. We cheated and skipped the city streets club bike ride to do this nice smooth trail south of town.

Frowning frog
This frog was hanging out by the pool but the manager didn't like his frown so now he lives in the butterfly garden in the dog walk. Like the frog we aren't doing anything adventurous at present but are being more social.

Trees
Went hiking with Brian and Elaine on Thursday up in the Catalinas. With two cars we could start in the pine forest ( after a serious climb) and hike down through high desert grassland. Perfect weather.

90 degrees
No table in the sun today. We have created an afternoon snack spot in the shade. Dance tonite. Hope it cools down quick.

Escape
We have brought Ida for two days at Gilbert Ray Campground ( and a hike at Brown Mountain). I am visiting the West side ( of the NP) to observe how they do field trips. Weather is perfect but otherwise not a good time. My
Mother is dying and our daughter is having more bad luck than you can imagine.
