Hiking in Ajo Mts
We have come down to Organ Pipe for a few days escape. Again weather is an issue. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and it is quite windy today. We brought the car this trip to drive the loop road and hike our favorite trail. Even a few wildflowers.

Desert morning
The sun is rising over the Tucson Mts on the west side where we are camped. Decided to escape the city for 2 nights-- camping in the desert at Gilbert Ray. Yesterday we hiked the 3 miles to the Desert Museum-- and back in the 80's afternoon. This morn we head home after breakfast.

Rillito River
The usually dry river is a muddy torrent after the rain. This is where we should be able to cross from bike trail on one side to the other. Crossing goes from mudhole on the right across this bit of river. Had nice ride on bike trail today but didn't cross here
