Christmas at 76 F
OK--no white Christmas here. After a bit of a chill (28F in the am) we are back to pool temperatures. We had our Christmas dinner yesterday.(because N & A who are part of our group are flying back to Montreal VERY early Christmas morning.). I did a Swedish smorgasbord with ham and mustard, meatballs, and mashed potatoes, 3 kinds of herring (which wasn't enough), red beet salad, and red cabbage. We will be eating leftovers for some time. In the tiny tin box in which we live 6 people are quite a crowd for dinner.
The herring is gone but our friend Stan has managed to secure some lutefisk which he promises to share with us tomorrow. Hmm. I have not heard any good things about lutefisk.

Raining in Tucson.
We have had a good long rain today so Kit and I did the laundry and made the meatballs for Christmas dinner. I just realized it's been a LONG time since I have blogged. I arrived on Nov 29 and my Nokoni friends were there to meet me at the airport and take me grocery shopping. That was Wednesday and Kit arrived on Saturday with all of our stuff. (All that we had remembered to pack). I still go to PT twice a week and seem to operate at half speed on everything I do. Have had a number of days too chilly for the pool. (Are we getting old to think that 64 is cool). There is a good exercise room and I do the exercise bike on days I don't go to PT. I am not good enough to ride my real bike yet.
Kit just got his new bike. After his was stolen he had a hard time finding a mountain bike that could handle a kick stand and a rack. Now he can go back to doing bike patrol at the NP. We have both been doing the kid field trips. I bought a stool so I could sit for at least some of the time. We each have one more this coming week and then none until mid January.

Hermes
I should have posted this long ago. Here we are on the day we picked up our new Subaru. He is officially named Hermes (god of roads and border crossings) but not often called that.
