Kit and Carol on the Road

The one trip we've made all summer and I forgot to blog it. It's been a couple of weeks since Kirsten's wedding. We went over the mountains for 4 busy days. Not the idyllic Indian summer weather we expected. In fact it was downright chilly. The wedding was not only outdoors but out in the country. The reception was indoors in a community hall but we had to eat outdoors in a big tent. At least we didn't have it as bad as some hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail who got snowed out at Rainy Pass and had to come down to civilization and hang out in the hot tub until the weather cleared.
