Magic garden

We arrived in Tucson to find our garden full of salad 😎 Nice neighbors.

Away at last

We have been at home for so long I have totally forgotten about this blog. At the end of February we got our 2nd dose of vaccine. So the first week of March we headed south to our place in Tucson. In the sun we thought. Our first weeks were up and down temperatures --the wind kept us indoors too much of the time. Now it is our last week and we are looking at 80's and even maybe a 90.
It is quite different here at Far Horizons with fewer people than usual and fewer activities though the Happy Hours at the pool are still happening once a week. There are no Canadians this year and far fewer RV's.
The lack of summer monsoon means the desert is really dry this spring--no wildflowers to speak of. We miss our volunteer work at the National Park though Kit got all the permissions required and is doing bike patrol. But we are only here for a month.
