Kit and Carol on the Road

The last day we were at ORPI this gorgeous red cardinal came to hang out in our campsite. I was really excited. Huge families of quail are everywhere. We had a gila woodpecker in a saguaro near us and saw cactus wrens and curve billed threshers. We even saw lots of phenopepala which are black cardinals. I have a great photo as well of a raven on top of a saguaro. We FINALLY saw ONE roadrunner. But this red bird thrilled me.
