Father's Choice

For Father's Day, (Sunday, June 17) Kit decided he'd like to spend the day hiking with his daugher. So we took the two ferries to Port Townsend. Then Kirsten drove us up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park. We hadn't been there since Kirsten was small. Down below it was damp and chill; on the way up it was pea soup fog, but at the top it was fine hiking weather with little wind and some nice sun breaks. Though there are still patches of snow, the wildflowers are beginning to bloom.
