Home the Long way
We headed east from Redmond and stopped at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument (Painted Hills)--see photo.
Then off the beaten track to find the town of Winlock where Joyce and Don are building a cabin. We made it to Prosser Washington for the night and came home the next day via Yakima and Leavonworth.
