Kit and Carol on the Road

I have always wanted to go to Promontory Point. Today we got to visit the National historic site and we were lucky enough to see the replicas of the locomotives which met here. They are being spiffed up for May when they fire them up. But the site is quite in the middle of nowhere. It was miles to an RV park and we are now in Idaho
