Kit and Carol on the Road

This morning we set off north back to Calf Creek. I wouldn't camp there but the hike to the falls was amazing. It was a 6 mile hike in and back. We left at 10 before the hordes and got back at 2 before the wind stormed. This was one of the most beautiful hikes we have ever taken. The falls at the end was simply the frosting.

Now it is starting to rain and the forecast is snow by morning. We would be content to just stay here if not for the A. Ranger. (Run in with hotshot Deputy who wanted another $20 for our campsite spoils my good impression of Utah state parks) Had a nice pizza in town tonight.
