Kit and Carol on the Road

Our first ever time of beaming from Tucson to Guemes in one day. Could have been a shock but it was 44 and raining in Tucson when we left yesterday afternoon. (about the same as in Seattle). The plane ride home was a bit bouncy but otherwise the trip was happily uneventful and on schedule. We got home on the 10pm ferry. Then had to do a quick turnaround trip to town this morning as we were sorely lacking in food. Can't get over how dark it seems here --even though the now bare trees have opened up our view of sky and water.
Looking forward to sauna time this afternoon.
